I wrote this over a week ago, but we got our film uploaded now, so I felt today was a great time to post this. Enjoy!
Here is what was revealed:
theme: a change of heart
line of dialogue: "I hope this works"
prop: an envelope being opened or closed
Here's how it went down
Once we had the requirements, the husband and I headed over to Applebee's to begin brainstorming. After a few flavored lemonaids, some spinich artichoke dip, and some really yummy steak and chicken, we had what we thought was a really great, original idea.
We got home pretty late, so we saved all of our filming for Saturday. I had to take a test for my online class on Saturday, so I had to opt out of the actual filming. Cam and some of our friends only ended up with about an hour to film though, because we all were going to a wedding that night. Somehow, they managed to get almost all of the shots within that hour.
They only needed 2 more shots, which we finished up after the wedding reception Saturday night. You know how sometimes when you need to say something serious(usually when you're being filmed), and then someone laughs or looks at you weird, and then you just can't kep a straight face for the life of you? Well, that happened a lot during the filming, which made it awesome.
We finished filming Saturday night and then the editing was done Sunday afternoon. Overall, it wasn't too stressful. That really surprised me.
The end product/masterpiece
whoa, your mind just got blown, didn't it?
The best was how every scene actually took about 20 takes because of Chad's giggle attacks. Well, that and those shots of my great legs.
