Late night scanning

Last night, Camaron reminded me that we needed to go to Target. I knew we needed something there, but couldn't remember what. Camaron started giving me clues (he obviously knew why we needed to go and was very excited about it). He started shooting things with a fake gun, then the word "baby" was uttered. It took me a while, but then I finally remembered.
Baby registry!

I love that Cam was so excited to go. We had a lot of fun scanning things with the cool gun at the store when we were engaged, so we were both looking forward to getting to do it again.
I had somewhat of a list at home to give us a little help figuring out what to register for, but I definitely forgot to bring it with us to the store. So... we just scanned everything!
It was so much fun!

The only thing I wish we could have scanned more of, was books.
I'm so excited to read books to little baby:)
Any book recommendations for little ones??

  1. Scanning things for my wedding registry was so fun. I'm sure baby registry would be awesome too. By the end we just got overwhelmed and started scanning random things haha.

  2. The Birthday Bears by Ruth Gelbricki Bragg (I think). I have tears streaming down my cheeks--with laughter--every time my husband reads this to my girls. Also, The Wild Baby by Barbro Lindgren. I love funny kids' books.

  3. P.S. I'm doing my last free month of sponsor swaps this June. If you have any free swap positions open, I'd love to swap with you! Email me. Thanks!

  6. i think registering for stuff should be a coping behavior for shop-aholics. kind of like online shopping but never checking out and paying for stuff.

  7. Scanning is so much fun! It's even better without a list.

  8. I too am most excited about books but didnt know what to do to register for all my favorites. Then one day a miracle happened. I realized Amazon.com lets you create baby registries! I immediately created one and added all my favorite children's books. This probably doesn't help my existing addiction to Amazon.

    1. I'm afraid to register on Amazon because I have the same addiction as you! If I start registerring, I may never stop.
