Lots of sugar, skunk, and new layout

Sooooo... I redid the blog (again). Sometimes I just see so many gorgeous blog designs out there that I can't help myself from playing around in Photoshop and creating something new. It's basically done, except I cannot get the left side bar to center itself. Any tips? Seriously, I was up way to late going crazy over it (perfectionist much?). *update: I maybe fixed it. We'll see

Oh, and this morning I had my glucose test at the doctor's office. It's where you drink this super sugary liquid and then they check your blood to make sure your body is breaking down sugars correctly, and you don't have gestational diabetes. I have basically been dreading this one. I just kept hearing negative things about drinking the orange sugar stuff. Turns out, it's not bad at all! (just make sure it's really cold)To me, it tasted like a melted orange otter pop (it even burned my throat a little, like how otter pops do). So, if you've been a little worried about having to drink all of that orange stuff someday for a glucose test, don't! It was nothing!

p.s. While I was getting ready to leave for the doctor's office this morning, I heard some noises in the hallway. It sounded like a plastic bag moving. I just figured it was Camaron looking through some stuff or something. Then I realized Camaron was at the other side of the house doing some work training. Then I heard some little sniffing. The skunk!!!!!! That was my first thought of course after this incident. I freaked and bolted across the house. I didn't know exactly where the sound was coming from -and I didn't want to find out. I tried to grab Cam, but he was in a video chat with his boss. So I just mimed to him that the skunk was back. He made me leave cause I was distracting him. So, I finished getting ready in the front room and then left for the doctor. Cam would have to figure it out on his own.

When I got back, Cam was on a break, so I made him check everywhere. We're concluding that it must have been in a vent -because Camaron had heard some scratching from the ceiling while he was training and I was gone. Looks like Pepe is partying at our place again.

  1. I love your new design! So pretty. And yeah...not sure what to think about the glucose test, my doctor didn't mention it, but I realized I'll probably get it soon. Glad to know it's not so bad :P And good luck with your skunk friend! They're everywhere here in the summer.

  2. that skunk will never leave you alone! haha I am loving this, but I do hope you find it so you guys can have some peace. And I HATED! the glucose test! After drinking that nasty crap, I got nauseous and threw up. But maybe that is just me. I'm glad you rocked it! You must be tougher than me.
