Make it Rain

This past weekend, the weather in AZ has been nothing short of wet. For me, this has been nothing short of wonderful. I love the rain (cliche AZ native right here). The sky has been perma-overcast (my fav), everything smells clean, and we actually get to use our windshield wipers. It's great!

The only people I can think of who have an excuse to be a little peeved by the rain (emphasis on little because, come on, it's rain) would be teachers -because I know how crazy rainy-day schedule can be, and the people who ran the Color Run on Saturday. You know, the run where you get colored chalk thrown all over you throughout the course of the race, and you look like a rainbow-human love child at the end? Powdered colors are cool -I'm not so sure about wet muddy colors dripping all over you and then your car afterward though. The best part of the whole Color Run + rain business though, was the following conversation:

Now I almost wish I had done the Color Run in the rain. Well, that or just watch 9 to 5

  2. I've always wanted to do a Color Run! Definitely on my to-do list for 2013. That, and find the motivation to do it in the first place. ;)
