Sloane is six months old. Half a year. I cannot believe this little babe is growing so quickly (says every mom ever). She is following right in her older brother's footsteps and becoming more and more fun everyday though, so that definitely helps.
Her eyes are undeniably blue. Her once almost-black hair is lightening up more and more. It almost looks like she has an ombre thing going on because her hair is coming in lighter underneath. She still has chunky legs and biggie cheeks. Sloane has Fox's laugh. She loves blowing bubbles/spitting/drooling/whatever will make her shirt soaked so I have to change it multiple times a day. And she has mastered rolling and getting into position to crawl. But she is not a crawler ...yet. Having something to chew on is a must for her right now ...and the louder it is, the better. Paper and wrappers are in the lead for favorite chew-thing right now.
Sloane is also a chatty baby. Always making little noises and sharing all kinds of knowledge and plans in her cutie baby language. She's wearing the same sized diapers as Fox right now because smaller diapers just can't contain what she has to offer. It's so ridiculous. But it's just another one of many things that shows how similar she is to Fox. And I just love how alike they are. Neither of them really looks much like Camaron or I, but they sure look like each other. And Fox is only ten pounds heavier than Sloane, so I know they're only going to be mistaken for twins more and more (yes it has already happened).
I love your gummy smiles, Sloane. And everything about you. Happy six months.
