As I mentioned in a previous post (this one), we spent time up in Northern Arizona at a cabin with Camaron's side of the family right after Christmas. It was a fun little weekend full of freezing cold nights, s'mores, hot chocolate, big coats, pine trees, and plenty of cousin time for Fox and Sloane.
Oh yeah, and foosball. Lots and lots of foosball.
We had a fun surprise the first night when Camaron's sister, Candace, and her husband, Jason, surprised us by showing up late that night on the doorstep. It was so fun that they were able to make it. We watched Zoolander that night -a fine, family film. Then, we explored Tonto Natural Bridge the next day. There were icicles all over and everything was so pretty. We went on a couple little hikes and Fox was in heaven. That kid and the great outdoors:) Sloane wore her marshmallow coat (named for obvious reasons) and it's basically my most favorite thing ever. We'll need to go play up north more often, just so we can have her bust it out more often.
We didn't really do much Christmas-y stuff, so maybe this post is inaccurately named. Even so, this was such a fun little trip to take during the break. Maybe it will become a tradition? Who knows. Maybe I just want more traditions in my life? Probably.
