Sloane Sloaney Sloaners

Sloane is 18 months now and totally rocking it. She loves naps, sleeping in (basically, she loves me a ton), talk talk talking all day, copying everything Fox does, eating all the foods, dancing, messing with the volume knob on the record player, going on walks, riding bikes, her doll/baby, not getting her hair done, always wants to be held by daddy, going to nursery at church (I snuck her in a little early, so she's been going for a little while), baths, and jammies (or as she call them, "yammies").

Sloane is still in the high percentile for height (78%), so we're thinking she'll be a tall one. She's learning new words all the time, although she still calls every drink and cup "milk/mulk" -which I actually kinda love. We live in the part of Phoenix where we drive through the tunnel a lot (you know the one I'm talking about). So, we got in the habit of always making it exciting and shouting "tunnel!" whenever we were driving through. Fox loves to shout it with us. And now Sloane joins in:) And yesterday, she beat us all to it and shouted tunnel first as we entered it! "Tunnohhh!"

I can't believe how fast this little one is growing up. Sometimes it makes me a little sad because we definitely don't have a baby in the house anymore, but she's in the best stage ever right now (ok, there are a lot of "best stage evers"). She's so cute and hilarious and still loves being held and cuddled and we just love our little Sloaney so much. Yay for 18 months!
